1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. So so, recipes are good, details on dose, not good By Angela C The book has recipes that require quite a bit of cannibus. 1/4oz-2oz. It also does not discuss the pros and cons of types, indica vs sativa vs hybrid. (FYI, 1/4 oz is $70-130 worth. Price depends on the type and dispensary. Even with a discount for large volume purchase, a 2 oz purchase is cost prohibitive. Not to mention illegal in some areas, there are limits on amount purchased per week/day and limits on how much you may have for personal use.)The recipes are well written, the directions are clear. Pictures are included. Everything from pesto lasagna to cookies is in this book. All recipes are simple with the exception of the lasagna which takes some time.One thing not included is a dose range per serving. (Aka how many mgs are in the entire batch. This is important so you do not consume more than will be effective or to be sure you eat enough. Your dispensary can give you an idea of how many mgs would be in the amount for the strain you purchase, but remember, effects from ingesting orally vs smoke or vaping vary.)No warning are given for being careful to mark finished products so roommates, minors, etc do not access it by accident. Also, no warning is given to wait 1.5 hours before medicating (or recreationally consuming) a second time. Oral use can take up to 1.5 hours to affect you, or it can take far shorter, use responsibly.

By Nikki Smith I've always thought the medicinal properties in marijuana were amazing and help ailments that nothing else can help. FINALLY a cookbook about using it that’s not a joke! These recipes are amazing, and when I have a headache, I just whip up some spicy pot choc (hot chocolate) and I feel better within minutes. People have been cooking with this herb for centuries and we shouldn’t stop now. This book explains the infusion of marijuana into oil or butter and tells you how to use them accordingly. I love all of the recipes in this book and hope there will be a second edition!

Johnson I’ve thoroughly enjoyed trying these recipes and have always liked the mix of marijuana and tea, but I’ve never heard of the infused apple cider and I have to say that it’s delicious. I imagine that having it out by my campfire will be one my fondest memories coming this winter. I do wish there were a few more selections, but all in all the variety is pretty nice (some of them I had genuinely never thought of) and the directions are super thorough especially about how to prepare the butter that is needed in most of the recipes. I was absolutely thrilled not to see a “brownies” recipe and this book can definitely be taken seriously as a COOK book. I love it and have recommended it to anyone who will listen
