0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The "Man of Mystery" from the Golden Age of Comics! By Uncle Mickey Archie Comics has attempted revivals of The Black Hood since the early 1960s. At one point, his adventures were drawn by the esteemed Gray Morrow. More recently, an Archie subsidiary, Dark Circle Comics, came out with a superb, fully realized reboot of the character penned by Duane Swierzynski. As good as it is, the more recent version is a solid continuation of one of the best Golden Age vigilante hero comic books. The 1940s comics from the original publisher, MLJ Publications, remain as expensive as their DC and Marvel (then known as Timely) counterparts so these books from Golden Age Reprints are nicely priced on Amazon and worth every penny.
