About the Author Neil Humphreys left his hometown in England for Singapore in 1996 where he stayed for 11 years. He then went to Australia only to return in 2011. His best-selling works: Notes from an Even Smaller Island (2001), Scribbles from the Same Island (2003) and Final Notes from a Great Island: A Farewell Tour of Singapore (2006) were written during his first sojourn in Singapore. Intriguing plot and characters; Singapore as a backdrop is woven into the story magically.Will look forward to more from this author, especially set in Singapore, as he writes about a place he knows well, with love even though its seamy side is evidenced absolutely everywhere.
