Mccormick This novella has good bones, but it needs a little honing and some fleshing out. The characters are generally likeable albeit slightly confusing and the plot is just okay. It has a few interesting technical details (which I wasn't sure were actually possible but had to take the author's word for it) and features a couple of romances, but it's a bit too Thirties Bijou matinee for me.All in all, it was a pleasant read and well worth the price. I would have given it another half star if I could. The author has talent and might want to think about using a bigger canvas to display it.

I think @ the Theatre is even better than the first. Enchanting, intriguing, suspenseful, yet lighthearted and fun. A good read when you want to sit down for a few hours, escape into a quirky small town full of colorful characters, whom some of us raised in the South probably have known at some point in our lives, and revel in their eccentric escapades. For me, it is not so much the plot but just simply being the fly on the wall watching this zany group go about their daily lives with some misadventures thrown in for good measure. Take a gander!

The characters were engaging and funny and definitely people I'd like to hang out with. Can't wait for the next installment of Holly Daze.My only complaint about this novella is that it wasn't long enough.
