KARA KING is a high-tech journalist on the edge. Kara uses her news-blog to recklessly investigate dangerous mysteries which she believes will lead her closer to finding out what caused the disappearance of her husband, KENT ROGERS, better known to the world as godlike superhero PROMETHEUS. Prometheus’s father, DOCTOR DAIFU, an inventor from another planet whose manners are anything but mild, believes that King’s embarrassing public exploits must be stopped. When Kara and Daifu are given a bizarre clue which reopens the case, they are forced to put their differences aside and work together to outsmart supervillains and outrun superheroes on their way to solving the case of the missing superman.

I immediately liked Kara King, she's super intense and is indeed a bit reckless but you can't help sympathizing with her. And Mr. Daifu... sorry, DOCTOR Daifu is awfully intriguing (although I don't know that I'd want to have a beer with him). The art is wonderful, the way faces are drawn is unique, and I really like the shading and coloration throughout. I'm not sure how best to describe the style, it's slightly cartoonish but has a lot of depth and detail. I don't want to give anything away, but Prometheus's disappearance isn't the only mystery at hand... This was really fun to read and I look forward to future issues.
