After a few years of waiting, my husband and I finally have our baby #2 on the way! I bought this book because during my first pregnancy, I gained way too much weight (mostly due to my horrible eating habits). This time, I wanted to do things right. Unlike the book "What to Expect When Your Expecting", this book gives you the down and dirty facts on vitamins and food choices without scaring you half to death. It also tells you what foods to avoid during pregnancy, such as unpasteurized foods. With extra tips on breastfeeding and losing post-baby weight, I’ll definitely be reading this again after the baby has been born.

So to help around with their sittuation, I decided get a book about what food can an expected mother eat. The author guides you how much weight gain is healthy, what right food to eat. allergies, what to avoid, even how to stay fit during the pregnancy, breast feeding and getting rid of the post-pregnancy weight. It is simple to read and follow.

The book actually walks you through the process of pregnancy: from weight gain, diet do’s and dont’s, and exercise. It also talks about the importance of breastfeeding and how to lose the baby weight. Overall, the book is equipped with the right amount of information that can be helpful to all pregnant women. I highly suggest this book!
