Good background information By webgirl This is definitely beginners book and really needed a better proof reading as there are some words that run together. Overall, the majority of the book goes through the benefits and possible issues of an intermittent fasting diet. I was glad to see that it mentions the downside for us women. Fasting (and pretty everything it seems) can cause our hormone levels to get out of wack. I have struggled with my weight for years and I am getting close to knocking on 50's door. Dieting is hard and I love food. Intermittent fasting if done carefully and for short periods I believe can be beneficial and doable for someone like me that has no willpower. You still can eat a good selection of foods; just spacing meals out further. The book reference several intermittent fasting plans and offered links to the information. The book never really gave a plan itself. It was more background information. Good information but you would probably want to check out some of the dieting plans that were referenced.

That is, it's short, not very comprehensive, and compiled largely from personal opinion and public sources of information (this one in particular lacked grammar, too). Then again, the book is free, and it does provide a satisfactory introduction to intermittent fasting and some popular ways of doing so. Afterward, I felt it to be worth reading.So, my thanks goes out to the book's author. I am grateful for your work.

The book shows several methods of fasting and explains pros and cons of all of them. Very good guide for beginners who wants to understand the reasons and effects of fasting and needs to know how to start form the right thing.
