He is loving. He is King! Just a few of the words this beautiful book uses to honor our glorious Savior. I couldn't wait to show my son (who just turned two) this board book. I had planned on sitting down and presenting it to him as a big surprise, but alas he saw it on the table and snatched it right up. He wanted to "read" it himself, and sat entertained by it for several minutes. For my always on the go toddler, I consider that a real victory!

It allows you to keep it simple for infants and toddlers and elaborate more on Jesus to your older kids. I've bought this for baby gifts and, so far, everyone has loved it. Great work B&H.

Short Words, Big Questions By Heather Caudill Little Words Matter: Jesus board book is illustrated by Holli Conger is the perfect book for the toddler and preK in your life and here's why I think so...On the back of the book it says "A few little words can tell a big story about Jesus!" and after reading this book to my kids that sentence is so true.When I first flipped through the book which is beautifully illustrated I noticed that it only had 12 words in the whole book. I thought to myself what could my kids really learn from this but I still wanted to see how they would like it.So I set my three kids (4, 2 and 11 months old) down for story time and we began. I opened to the first page and since I am working with my oldest on her letters we spelled each word out loud Jesus Board Booktogether. So as I continued on with spelling each word and explaining what it means to my oldest, my two year old was naming all the object in each picture all while my baby boy is just trying to take my glasses off. Story time is fun! Our story time came to an end and my girls seem to really like it and my oldest wanted to look at it on her own to try to spell words by herself, which I was excited about.Later that day I packed the kids in the van to run to the store and on the way my oldest asked me "Mommy, what does baptized mean again?" I was so excited that she one remembered the book we read that morning and she was asking questions. We later had a conversation about all the rain we've been having and that Jesus can walk on water. My heart was overjoyed!!!I went from not expecting too much from this little board book with 12 words to going over it every morning this week! Each word and picture creates more questions for my 4 year old and I love that we have the opportunity to go deeper and learn more about Jesus.Anything that sparks a hunger to know more about Jesus in my child, I love and this simple little board book did just that!!!I highly recommend getting this book for any of the children in your life and it would make the perfect Christmas gift!I can't wait to bring this to church and share it with the children's ministry.
