A great investment to learn about this amazing service By Sam I have used cloud storage for things like photos, but I did not even think about using the cloud to store documents. After reading Bohannon’s book, I have a completely different perspective on how to use this feature. I use Amazon for many different things from shopping, to reading, watching movies, and now cloud storage. This book was great and gets right to the point, hence the shorter length. Working in the construction field, I have a need for many different types of files from drawings, marketing materials, presentations, specs, etc. Many of my days consist of office work, traveling to job sites or meetings, or promoting the business. With the cloud storage I am able to keep all my files centrally located so even if I don’t have my computer (for some strange reason), I can access my materials remotely from anywhere with an internet connection. One of the most interesting points, and useful, is the comparison between the other services like Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. Amazon’s Cloud is truly unlimited, and they offer other options as well. Truly a great read, and definitely worth it if this is a service that could be beneficial for personal or professional use.

I had looked into this awhile back, but in March 2015 Amazon increased it's capacity for storage and file types making this a preferential service over many other options on the market. This book is a guide to all of the new features available and how to make the most of your subscription. The cloud is ideal for storing photos and other important backups in an easy to view, access and retrieve fashion.

Incomplete Overview of Amazon's Cloud, Amazon Unlimited Cloud Drive is Must-Read for Smart-Device Owners By Bill Anderson Length: 17 pages.Although this is more recent than a similar booklet, and although it is a bit less thorough than that other (Amazon Prime Photos), this is a very good augmentation of A.P.P.I like his quick, rat-ta-tat-tat writing pace. I even appreciate his pro-Amazon Cloud sales pitch, as it indicates to me that he truly believes in the product. This is further evident by his chart comparing several different cloud services - the pricing and terms. As the writer states, among the group compared, Amazon is the only true unlimited storage offered.He also explained a couple issues quite well. First, he showed how Amazon differs from the others, in that it does not synchronize the items you store. As part of his explanation regarding Amazon's cloud, I learned that my fear of depending on Amazon for all my photos and videos for future viewing is likely misplaced, as the Amazon is primarily storing them for backup and for viewing/use using my other devices. I am grateful for his explanation.Where this book does not duplicate A.P.P. is in regards to showing how to utilize the cloud. What I mean is downloading the required apps and how to upload, etc. That is fine by me. I only need the instructions from one booklet.Where Amazon Unlimited Cloud Drive excels, in particular, is in explaining why Amazon's Cloud is accessible even to those without Amazon Prime. Even, to some extent, to those with Prime. That is the Unlimited Everything option of $59.99 per year. This is indeed a great deal that is better than any competitor of whom I am aware.Perhaps because of this, Apple re-priced their cloud, which I quickly took advantage of. For only $3.99 per month I get 200 GB of storage, accessed from all my devices. Until learning of Amazon's Cloud, I thought this was an incredible deal, which it remains, since, thus far, I am storing only about 50 GB currently.Still, 60 bucks a month with no strings attached is incredible.Incidentally, the one fault I find with Amazon Unlimited Cloud Drive is that the author, in his comparisons, never mentioned Apple's options. Since Apple is, essentially, the smart-device elephant in the room, you would think Bohannon would have included Apple in the chart.Despite this glaring omission, I found this to be a terrific summary and Amazon Unlimited Cloud Drive has earned a place in my e-Library.
