About the Author Malcolm writes short stories, humorous novels about the advertising industry and time-travelling historical mysteries. I recognized many fellow joggers, and myself too. in the book. A very easy read and will make you chuckle and smile. Costain has a keen eye and backs it up with a nice delivery and scene creation. Especially loved Rhambo - the "Dog That Doesn't Bite but Does". And even though each chapter is about different types of joggers we all run into, you get to know and even identify with the main character, which, to me, is one of the hallmarks of a well written book. I am looking to more good books from Costain. .

The description of the meditation of jogging; the simple pleasure of putting one foot in front of the other in the search for inner calm and the possibility of losing a few pounds is first-class. All of us have crossed swords with the Intolerable Leapfrogger, The Impassable and the other incarnations inhabiting Mr Costain’s track. I am looking forward to seeing more of Costain’s observations about these and other characters in the future.

I run the busy bowen track every day and while I love the insouciant pony tail By Tony Archer For anyone who jogs this is a must read, if nothing else it makes you more observant when you are out of the track. I run the busy bowen track in Hong Kong every day and while I love the insouciant pony tail, my blood boils at the expectorator , every day you think "was that dream lover who passed me", her scent lingers long enough to crave the next lap. I will be sending Malcolm my observations from the track
