Lampos This is the type of book that quilters keep a copy for themselves, then buy copies to give to their stitcher friends. The Promise paragraph and the Sew On paragraph just bring all the pieces of the devotional together into a beautiful pattern. Gayle has written to the hearts of women who long for hope, love the family traditions and want to ponder life, love and legacy. Designed well. Woven with comforting words. Beautiful.

By Susan Kinney Combining quilting and scripture then adding heartwarming stories to this devotional has made A Patchwork of Promises by Gayle C. Ottemiller a personal favorite for me! Thank you Gayle for patching this devotional book together. I now know what I’m giving a couple special people in my life this Christmas. This is a unique, useful, and delightful read – one that I highly recommend!
