Great book - lots of lighting diagrams By Ric If you are looking for a book on how to make creative or erotica images with lighting diagrams and before and after images then this is the book you should get. Yucel takes a shot, and then jumps right in with how it was shot, and then how it was lit. Then he has detailed instructions of what happens during the shoot, and finally finishes up with photoshop tips. This is a great guide on how to recreate the shoot, step by step with tips and ideas and gear used in each step. I would recommend this book to any photographer willing to see, learn and then do.

He has produced a book that explores fresh boundaries in the genre of art and erotic nude photography. It is in a sense a journey of exploration which guides the reader through areas of the subject not often covered in other books. He has something to say about the relationship of photographer and subject during a photo shoot. The use of creative poses, the importance of understanding lighting and the little discussed need to know about the creative effects of different focal length lens use is covered in detail. He shows how team work with body painters and post- production experts can enhance the picture output when necessary. All in all it is a book full of excellent photography, plentiful diagrams and technical advice which is a must-buy for both experienced photographers and those new to the genre who aspire to excellence in this field.

Depiano Yucel Yalim expertly depicts the variety with which the nude form can be artfully photographed. He provides advice on photographing the nude female form, both from a business perspective and from a social commentary view point. He provides a depiction of the lighting setup for each shot within this book, which will be very valuable for those who are new to photographing nudes. No two images within this book are alike; one of Yalim's strengths is his constant drive to bring a different creative element to each image he shoots. If you are new to this genre of photography, or are looking for inspiration on taking your work to a new level, this book is a great addition to your research library.
