About the Author Jeff LeJeune grew up in small town USA in Jeanerette, LA and was heavily influenced by his years at Hanson Memorial High School in Franklin. He played basketball at McNeese State University until overcoming a deadly bacterial disease gave him reason to focus on other things in life, most importantly the gifts of storytelling and teaching. After teaching and coaching at two Catholic high schools for ten years, Jeff closed that chapter in his life and began writing more in earnest. This 2015 edition of Postmarked Baltimore is one product of that pursuit.

Complex and insightful By Lori Anne Mardis ***2015 Black and White Edition***This is the second book I have read by Jeff LeJeune, and the complexity and inner turmoil was evident from the very beginning. Through a string of flashbacks, the author allows the main character to revisit circumstances that have haunted him for many years, when he receives an unexpected letter from a lost love. From the beginning, it is deep and dark all the while delivering an underlying challenge to look at yourself and your walk in your faith. I was immersed in the story from beginning to end and would highly recommend it to any of my friends and/or family.

It is almost impossible to put it down as it deals with the inner struggles of the main character. Discernment is a big part of life, and this book takes you on a ride of one man's discernment on every level. It really helps you to look within and think about the choices you made, and why you made them. Excellent piece of work.

This book was riveting to say the least. There came a part where I was actually in tears, it was so moving and real. I may have missed a Mardi Gras celebration or two, but there's no way any of it could have topped my quiet evening completely wrapped up in this beautifully written book.
