I enjoy books about shifters, vampires, witches, etc. In this story Sophia (a witch) has gotten herself into deep trouble with a vindictive vampire and needs a place to hide. So she turns to Maximus, a trusted vampire, for help. He needs to get her to a safe place, so he calls on Dante (a wolf shifter and a friend) and asks for a favor. Maximus wants Dante to give Sophia 'sanctuary' with his pack until he can deal with the other vampire. And (of course), as soon as Dante meets Sophia and gets a whiff, the game is on. He knows she's his mate. He's not happy about it, and neither is she, but that's nothing unusual in these stories. We know it will all work out in the end.While plagued with some typographical errors, the story reads well and it held my interest. And if you are a Kindle Unlimited member the book is free, so I recommend grabbing it. And yes, I would recommend this one to fans of Lee and Briers.

She was Fae but she wasn't overly crazy like some Fae characters can be. She puts up just enough of a fight but not too much that can ruin it sometimes if they are too hardheaded. :) Dante was kinda awesome. Once he knew her history/story he let up and gave her some space and backed off. Great show of a good alpha who understands and wants to meet his mate's needs. Loved this book. Maximus was awesome...loved his character. Would have enjoyed him finding his mate too. This is a favorite for sure. :)
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Loved it By A M Kavanagh I loved Saving Me. Another great story of Lycan, Vampire, and Fae. Max the Vampire is Sofia the Fae's BFF. When she gets into trouble with a bad news Vampire, he wisks her off to the country to hide her with his friend Dante the town Alpha. Sofia doesn't get along with Alphas. Now she has one for a mate. While she won't deny her mate, she won't let him have an easy time wooing her.
