His keys to spiritual victory are simple yet profound, and definitely essential. Scripture is used abundantly and is well handled. Great resource in the struggle for purity!

Sadly, I often hear how youth leaders at church or other fellow Christians encourage others to have intercourse while dating to see "if they're right fit for each other".I nodded at the author's statement "I think many Christians are failing simply because they don‘t know what sexual immorality is... Some would even say that it is just 'intercourse." There was a time when I struggled to define what sexual immorality was, what purity was. I was too embarassed to ask my parents or church people, so I remember googling it--and man, things that you find online.The author not only lays out solid Bible passages to support his arguments, but specifically lists things to guard so we can avoid sinning with our body and mind. Although he does give some of his personal testimonies here and there, I would have liked to read some real stories of other people, how they have struggled and how they have overcome it and whatnot.But overall, it's a great book to start in-depth discussions. I have had this kind of discussion with a variety of people, and I now wish I had read this book before hand.

Yet, he provides a great insight and provokes an analysis of our own hearts against the Word of God. Where do we stand? Why do we struggle so much? Throughout the text, he offers Biblical references and textual supports to truly represent the necessity of purity in our lives. Reverend Brown states strategic methods as well as practical approach to live a life honorable to God. It is, without a doubt, a great book for anyone to gain wisdom as well as support in this difficult battle.A man is free, indeed, in Christ.
